Slacker...

Yes, admittedly I have been an extreme slacker. My poor blog has suffered for it, but I promise I have had very good reasons for it. 

I'm pregnant.

That's my reason!

Haha, in all seriousness, this pregnancy has taken sooo much out of me. Exhausted...doesn't even cover it! But I am so anxious to meet our precious Drew! 

This past weekend Adam and I got to enjoy some alone time... Noah went to his Deda's house so we decided to go on a little date.

And although it was 'our date' we decided to do a little shopping... for our boys. Gosh that sounds really strange to say... our boys! 

Anyways we got Noah set up for spring and summer... and started on baby Drew's wardrobe. We also got Drew's 'coming home' outfit!

P.S. I'm 28 weeks now.... only 12 weeks to go!!

Thursday's Thought..

I have discovered the blessings in my life... those people who hold me up, keep me strong and brighten up my life.

And... I have had many lessons come in and out of my life. Those who struggled to see me, accept me, and really appreciate what I have to offer. Although they had to go, they were not meant to be a part of the bigger plan, they held their own importance. They taught me lessons about myself...both good and bad... and helped me to become a stronger person. I learned not to view myself through their eyes, but through my own...

I am so thankful for the blessings in my life... I love and cherish them with all of my heart. But I am also thankful for the lessons... without them my story might not be what it is today... and that is something I wouldn't risk for anything.

Sweet Tooth

In honor of this sweet holiday, I hit the kitchen and made some of our household's favorites.... cupcakes!

Strawberry & Cream...and Chocolate Fudge!

They were almost too pretty to eat....almost!

I added some sweet sugar pearls... I was shocked to find these little gems at Wal-Mart of all places!! Way to go Wal-Mart for stepping up your game!

Noah was eager to taste test! He obviously didn't want to wait until Momma finished taking pictures!
