Today's the Day!

Woohoo! Yay! Yipee! The day has finally come... today we find out if we are having a boy or girl! 

My appointment isn't until 3:30 this evening and I've been up since 7 am just counting down the minutes... I'm not patient whatsoever so having to wait is killing me. 

Adam can't come along with me today because he has to stay home with Noah... my poor baby has a sinus infection and an ear infection in both ears. With this being only the 2nd time he's ever been sick, it's definitely taking a toll on him. Adam isn't thrilled that he can't come today, but it gives me a chance to find some special way to tell him myself what the baby's gender is.

And Noah isn't the only one who is sick... I've got the same funk he has. Luckily Adam hasn't caught it and is off work until the beginning of the year so he's able to take care of us. I know Noah is just as ready as I am to kick this nasty cold's butt!

Despite feeling under the weather (to put it nicely) I can't help but be excited for what this day has in store! 

*Cross your fingers that baby cooperates today!*

Merry Christmas!

 I hope you all have had a very merry Christmas! We've had a blast around here!

On Thursday, we traveled down to my parent's house!

 

Look at this sweet picture I snapped of my mom and my son, Noah. He sure does love his 'Marmie' and definitely enjoys all of that attention! 

Molly just could not wait to tear into some gifts... oh the anticipation!

And this was Christmas morning... I snapped it before Noah woke up... it was a special time for Adam and I to prepare for and await Noah's excitement... I think we were just as excited, if not a little more.

We are all so happy that Adam gets to spend 2 whole weeks at home!

The Bump!

On Sunday, I will be 16 weeks along... and the bump has already showed up! My doctor warned me that this time around I would probably start showing much sooner.... he wasn't kidding! 

But he also told me I would be over the morning sickness by now...however it seems as though round 2 has hit!

Anyways, before my monthly check-up with the baby doctor, I had Adam snap a couple of pics of the "baby bump"

 Unfortunately I didn't realize that I was wearing black on top of having a dark background... so the bump may be a little harder to see....

But it's definitely there!

Holidays '11

On Saturday Adam got the tree down from the attic and in a group effort we all got the tree up and decorated. And I couldn't wait to put presents under the tree so I started wrapping right away!! Now the tree is totally complete... gifts and all! 

After we got the tree up we all sat in front of the tv and watched some Christmas movies!

Shortly after this picture was taken, he fell running up the drive way and scraped his poor little nose! But he took it like a trooper ( as always) and didn't make a big fuss about it at all. He's definitely ALL BOY.... and growing up into my little man...

I love you...

Today marks 4 amazing years as Mrs. Steiner! It has been such a beautiful ride thus far and I cannot wait to see what the future has in store... I am truly the luckiest girl in the world, blessed with such an awesome hubby!

I am so excited for our date night this weekend to celebrate these past 4 years! Our son's 2nd bday party is also this weekend.... celebrations all around!!

Happy Birthday Noah!

Yep, it's official...my son is growing up on me!! Today, he is the birthday boy...celebrating two amazing years in which he has been such a blessing! Son, you will forever hold a very special place in my heart... my first born... Oh how I love you!

His actual b-day party is on Saturday... can't wait to see him tear into all his presents...and eat lots of cake and ice cream too of course!!

But today my mind is taken back to this night 2 years ago... the night my life forever changed for the better... the night God gave me the greatest gift....

I Love November

Yes, November is one of my favorite months and for many reasons! There are the obvious reasons such as, leaves changing, cooler weather, Thanksgiving, the Black Friday shopping deals.... and just the Holiday season in general! But in the Steiner house, we also have the celebration of the birth of our son Noah and our wedding anniversary.... and those two celebrations are just a day apart!

Noah was born November 9th, 2009 at 9:21 p.m. ( 9 seems to be his number, he was also 19 inches long!) And just a few hours later marked my husband and my 2nd wedding anniversary. We celebrated in the hospital, and it was the best anniversary gift I could have ever imagined! And it's funny because our "dating"  anniversary ( the date that marks when we actually became a couple) is May 23rd and our 2nd baby's due date is May 19th... What is up with anniversaries and due dates with us?! LOL! 

In related baby news, I have begun the countdown.... the countdown to finding out the gender of this baby! Will I be having a sweet little princess? Or is it my lot in life to be surrounded by handsome guys? Either way, I will be a happy Momma!

We officially have 51 days left before we *cross our fingers* find out if it's team pink or team blue!

Well, I am off to welcome this Monday with some household chores! Hope you all had a great weekend!

I Got You, Babe!

In just 6 short days, the hubby and I will celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary!

What started off as a beautiful friendship, turned into a loving relationship, that lead to an amazing marriage!... I love you Adam and I look forward to many, many more anniversaries with you by my side!

I Feel Good!

Ahh so thankful for a FULL day without ANY sickness whatsoever! You really don't appreciate feeling well and being able to hold down food until you've experienced awful, terrible, unrelenting morning sickness. And by the way, whose idea was is to call that horrid experience "morning sickness?" Uh I WISH I had only gotten sick in the mornings, but some people (like, for instance, ME) have to carry a bucket around everywhere they go ALL day long.... oh and make sure to keep one by the bed at night just in case! It is rather disgusting to hear women say, " Oh I only felt sick once or twice and it wasn't that bad." Ha! I couldn't be so lucky... no instead I lose weight, become dehydrated, have to be hospitalized due to dehydration (went through that with my first pregnancy), lay still all day long because any motion can set off my stomach like a ticking time bomb, have to deal with constant hunger, try to eat to help with hunger sickness, throw up because I made the mistake of eating, get headaches due to lack of food and water...... Yeah that's my "morning sickness." No big deal!

SO, as you can see, I am extremely thankful for my first full day in over a month of being free from any sickness. Ahhh what a welcome relief! And I celebrated this day by getting to eat whatever I wanted... and having the thrill of keeping it down!

Yes, today was a GOOD day! Now I am off to a great night's sleep... Thank you, Lord!

And Baby Makes Four...

That's right, the hubby and I are elated to be adding a precious, new addition to our family! On Sunday, I will officially be OUT of my 1st trimester! Whew, thank goodness! I have been basically bed ridden for the past month due to extreme morning sickness... Thankfully, I believe the worst of it has passed. I am due May 19th... a Spring baby!

And, once again, the countdown to find out the baby's gender has begun! We are scheduled to find out on December 28th, right before New Years!

I am finally starting to feel like myself again, and just in time for Noah's 2nd birthday party and to get started on Christmas shopping.

Now, I can't go an entire post and not talk about my son Noah! He has turned into the ultimate CLOWN! So very silly, just like his Daddy! And boy does he LOVE to sing! He sings to me quiet frequently :) And I definitely don't complain! I have recorded him singing on my phone... It is just TOO sweet! His favorite song to sing is "Stand By Me," one of my favorites!!

Noah is also excited about the baby... he likes to point and rub my stomach saying "baby" with a big smile on his face. When we ask him if he's going to have a brother or sister he always replies sister! We will also ask him if the baby is going to be a Parker or a Madison (our possible boy/girl names) and he always says Madison! Hmmm, we'll see if he's right!! 

Oh, by the way, hope everyone has had a safe and Happy Halloween!!!
